About Guy Saunders

Guy Saunders grew up in Chevening, attending the local primary school and later, Sevenoaks School. He lives in Sevenoaks with his wife, Alison and two lovely children, Tim and Bethan. He worked for several years in business before, in 1998, he followed his passion for music and launched Saunders Music.

Saunders Music aims to promote musical awareness and education in primary school children. Guy now teaches the flute in three local primary schools (Platt C.E. Primary, St Lawrence C.E. Primary and Sundridge and Brasted). He hires out quality student instruments, services and repairs flutes and clarinets.

Guy has several years experience with primary school orchestras and currently runs the St. L.S.O. at St. Lawrence School.

Guy has played the flute since childhood and took up the saxophone more recently. He plays in the Sevenoaks Symphony Orchestra and occasionally with two local jazz groups, and is responsible for the music group in our church.
